The only requirement for admission is that you must have completed at least 12 years of schooling. Higher secondary school certificate or High school diploma is enough. You must have taken Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the last two years of  schooling and obtained passing marks. There is no requirement for successful completion of TOEFL. You must be able to read and write English, as the medium of education is English.

Mail the completed form along with required documents to our address below. We will advise you by e-mail if your documents are accepted and provide our banking information for deposit. Our fees should be wired to the account provided via e-mail. When the fees are received we will secure a seat for you and submit the documents to the Ministry for obtaining the acceptance letter which takes about 2-3 months to arrive.

North American admission and counseling service is a joint venture between the University of Oradea and education consultants in North America that serves to assist students in successful placement at University of Oradea, friendly reception upon arrival, arrangement of accommodation, opening bank accounts, translations of documents into Romanian, guidance in Oradea, assistance in applying for Financial Aid for those who qualify. We also help by providing guidance in passing Medical council of Canada and United States Medical licensing exam after graduation. All these services are included when you apply through our office.

· Certified/Notarized photocopies of secondary school certificates (Diploma+Transcript)

· Certified/Notarized photocopy of Valid Passport

· Certified/Notarized photocopy of Birth Certificate

· Health letter from Family Doctor stating that you are free of any communicable diseases and including HIV result.

· 2 passport size photos

· 1 page essay on reasons for studying medicine addressed to Dean.

· Certified/Notarized copy of University transcripts (Transfer students Only)

· CV and copy of MD Diploma (only for students applying for Medical postgraduate specializations)

Please note that students can also apply for free to University of Oradea by writing to The Ministry of Education in Romania. You will need to apply at least 6 months in advance and you may very often need to submit your documents twice. Applicants may also be required to provide additional documents or resubmit if the application is not correctly compiled. Please note that most applications sent to the Ministry don't even reach the right desk! You may also be required to resend your documents up to 3 times! Quite often documents go missing and students are informed months afterwards. If you cannot afford the North American Admissions Office fees, then you can choose to apply directly to the Ministry.
